23 Years Later, Bradenton Police Continue to Seek Answers in Denisha Williams Homicide
This weekend marked 23 years since Denisha Williams was found murdered inside her apartment at 1909 5th St. W. in Bradenton, a case that remains unsolved more than two decades later.
Williams, 41, was discovered on February 28, 2003. She had sustained multiple injuries, and investigators determined there were signs of a struggle inside the apartment, indicating she fought with her attacker.
Detectives recovered DNA evidence from the scene. Despite ongoing investigative efforts and advances in forensic technology, the suspect's identity has not been determined.
The Bradenton Police Department continues to actively investigate the case and is urging anyone with information to come forward. Even the smallest detail could help move the investigation forward and bring closure to Williams’ family.
