5th grader gives back

We'd like you to meet Cainlynn, a fifth-grade student from Robert E. Willis Elementary School. On Thursday, she and her family brought a bunch of brand-new school supplies to the Professional Support Center to donate for kids who may need them.

Cainlynn ran the idea by her parents at the start of the summer and they loved it! She made a video asking neighbors to donate, posted it on social media and received everything from backpacks to notebooks.

The donation was received by Debra Estes, Director of ESOL, Migrant and Dual Language programs, who shared that Cainlynn is a humble young woman with a big heart. THANK YOU! #ManateeSchoolsGoodNews
