Academy at Bradenton to Host 7th Annual Telethon in Support of Mental Health Recovery
The Academy at Bradenton and its sister location, the Academy at Glengary, are set to go live for their 7th Annual Telethon on Wednesday, August 14, 2025. This year’s theme, “All Aboard! Sharing Hope in Mental Health Recovery,” invites viewers to tune in from 7 to 8 PM EST for a powerful hour of storytelling, community, and impact.
The virtual event, broadcast live under the title “Live from the Academy,” will raise critical funds to support mental health recovery programs at the Academy. With a vibrant train-themed backdrop, the telethon aims to inspire action and awareness while showcasing the voices of those thriving in recovery.
Founded to support adults living with mental health challenges, the Academy at Bradenton provides a non-clinical, work-focused environment where members can rebuild their confidence, acquire new skills, and re-enter the workforce. The programs are designed to help individuals regain purpose through community engagement, wellness, education, and employment opportunities.
Proceeds from the telethon will directly benefit the Academy’s recovery model, covering essential services such as vocational training, peer mentorship, creative arts, and educational workshops. Sunset Automotive Group proudly sponsors the event.
To be part of the journey, viewers can watch live at AcademySRQ.org/Live and contribute to helping others get back on track.
Mark your calendars and save the date—because every step forward in mental health recovery deserves a standing ovation.
