Adopt-A-Palooza Returns to Manatee County for 10th Anniversary Celebration
Manatee County Animal Welfare will host the 10th annual Adopt-A-Palooza on Saturday, June 20, bringing together adoptable pets, local organizations and pet-friendly activities for families across the community.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Manatee County Convention and Visitors Bureau, located at 1 Haben Blvd. in Palmetto. The event is co-hosted by Friends of Manatee County Animal Welfare.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet dogs and cats available for adoption while speaking with Animal Welfare staff to help find a compatible match for their household and lifestyle. Organizers say the event is designed to connect animals in need with loving homes while promoting pet adoption and responsible pet ownership.
Activities planned for the event include kids activities, raffles and silent auctions, K-9 search and rescue demonstrations, pet resource information and pet-friendly retail vendors. Leashed pets are welcome to attend.
Manatee County Animal Welfare adoption fees will be waived during the event in lieu of a donation to Friends of Manatee County Animal Welfare.
Admission and parking are free. Additional information is available at mymanatee.org/aap.
