Anna Maria Oyster Bar Rolls Out Full Calendar of April Events, Specials and Community Initiatives
Anna Maria Oyster Bar is welcoming spring with a full lineup of events, seasonal specials, and community-driven initiatives taking place throughout April across its multiple locations.
The month begins with the launch of a refreshed beverage program on April 3, introducing a new lineup of cocktails, zero-proof drinks, expanded margarita options, and beer selections. The updated menu, designed with a coastal theme and presented on surfboard-style displays, will be available at all locations. Daily happy hour specials will continue to be offered from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and again from 9 p.m. to close.
Community engagement remains a central focus in April, highlighted by the return of the annual Lucky Ducky Race fundraiser benefiting Pace Center for Girls. Guests can adopt a duck at all Anna Maria Oyster Bar locations through April 9 for a chance to win prizes, including a vehicle lease or a cash award. The race will take place on April 11, with proceeds supporting programs that provide education, counseling, and life skills for young women.
Easter celebrations will take place on April 5, with all locations open and serving both the regular menu and holiday specials. Featured dishes include slow-roasted prime rib and a traditional ham plate with seasonal sides, offering families a convenient and festive dining option for the holiday.
Mid-month, the organization will participate in the regional Giving Challenge from noon April 15 through noon April 16. Funds raised will support Shuckin’ Good Cause, including its Dive Into Reading initiative, which provides books and literacy support to students across the region. Donations made during the 24-hour event are eligible for matching contributions, amplifying the community's impact.
At the University Town Center location, guests can take part in Taste of UTC, featuring special prix fixe menus available daily. Lunch and dinner options will showcase signature dishes such as seafood favorites, ribs, and housemade key lime pie, offering a curated dining experience at a set price.
Later in the month, the UTC location will also host “Sip, Shuck, and Sustain” on April 23, an Earth Day-inspired event focused on oyster restoration and environmental education. The experience will include oyster shucking demonstrations, wine tastings, and interactive exhibits highlighting the role oysters play in maintaining healthy waterways.
Throughout April, Anna Maria Oyster Bar continues to blend dining, community involvement, and environmental awareness, offering guests multiple ways to engage beyond the table while supporting local causes and celebrating Gulf Coast culture.
