Authorities Seek Public’s Help Locating Missing Endangered Teen in South Manatee

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 19-year-old Maxwell Memmelaar, who was reported missing and endangered after leaving his home overnight between June 17 and June 18.

Memmelaar was last seen at his residence in the 7900 block of Indigo Ridge Terrace in southern Manatee County. He is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 135 pounds, and was wearing blue Crocs at the time he disappeared. It is unknown what additional clothing he may have had on.

Officials say Maxwell has known medical conditions and requires prescribed medication, increasing concern for his well-being.
