Big Dreams Through Small Steps Joins The Giving Partner Network
The Giving Partner has added Big Dreams Through Small Steps to its regional nonprofit directory, expanding the organization’s visibility to donors, grantmakers, volunteers and community members across Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte and DeSoto counties.
Presented by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, The Giving Partner serves as a centralized online resource featuring more than 700 nonprofit organizations committed to transparency through public profiles that include mission information, leadership details, financial data, program outcomes and community impact.
The addition of Big Dreams Through Small Steps provides the Bradenton-based nonprofit with a new platform to showcase its mission and growing community initiatives, including educational support programs, entrepreneurship opportunities, community partnerships and drowning prevention efforts through the AQUAlibrium program.
According to the organization’s profile and mission information, Big Dreams Through Small Steps is dedicated to empowering families and building stronger communities by connecting needs to solutions one small step at a time.
The nonprofit has focused its efforts on collaboration with local organizations, businesses and families to address community needs while helping create access to resources and opportunities. Programs highlighted through the organization include support for children and families, entrepreneurship initiatives, partnerships with other nonprofits and public awareness efforts through Pulse of Manatee.
The Giving Partner was launched in 2012 through a collaborative effort involving the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, Gulf Coast Community Foundation, Manatee Community Foundation, The Bishop-Parker Foundation and The Patterson Foundation. The platform is widely used by donors and funders researching charitable organizations and community impact throughout the region.
