Bishop-Parker Foundation Hires Amber Lamerson as Director of Community Impact
BRADENTON, Fla. — Bishop-Parker Foundation has named Amber Lamerson its Director of Community Impact to help advance programs and partnerships across the region.
Lamerson, the organization’s second full-time employee, brings more than a decade of experience in fundraising, donor relations, and nonprofit leadership. She is passionate about strengthening organizations and giving back through board service and is a graduate of Leadership Sarasota and the Gulf Coast Leadership Institute.
Prior to joining Bishop-Parker Foundation, Lamerson was the Donor Experience Officer at The Bay Park Conservancy. She also worked as a philanthropic administrator at Gulf Coast Community Foundation and has led data-driven initiatives that improved donor engagement and program operations.
In her new role, Lamerson will manage community programs; cultivate relationships with nonprofit partners; oversee grants management; and measure outcomes across the Foundation’s priority areas of health, education, arts and culture, the environment, animal welfare, and human services.
“Adding a director of community impact strengthens our capacity to deliver measurable results for the people we serve,” said Wendy Deming, CEO of Bishop-Parker Foundation. “Amber’s track record and collaborative approach will help us deepen relationships and accelerate progress on our mission. Her blend of program expertise and data-informed decision-making will ensure our grants and initiatives translate into sustainable, community-wide impact.”
“I’m honored to join Bishop-Parker Foundation at such a pivotal moment,” Lamerson said. “I look forward to working with our partners to scale effective programs, strengthen grants management, and use rigorous evaluation to guide resources where they can do the most good.”
