Bradenton Argument Ends in Fatal Stabbing, Suspect in Custody
BRADENTON – A man is dead and another injured following a stabbing at a Bradenton home early Sunday morning, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to the 400 block of 60th Avenue Drive East, where they found 40-year-old Wednes Cleophat with multiple stab wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Another man at the scene was found with a laceration to his head and was also taken to the hospital. His condition has not been released.
Authorities arrested Jean Addition, who is accused of stabbing Cleophat during an argument. He was booked into the Manatee County Jail on a murder charge.
The investigation remains ongoing as deputies work to gather more details about the incident.
