Bradenton Begins Curbside Christmas Tree Collection January 5
As the holiday season winds down, the City of Bradenton’s Solid Waste team will begin collecting live Christmas trees as part of regular yard waste service starting Monday, January 5.
Residents are reminded to prepare trees properly before placing them at the curb. All decorations, lights, hooks, and tree stands must be completely removed. Trees should be set out loose at the curb and not placed in bags, as plastic bags cannot be collected with yard waste.
Only live Christmas trees are eligible for this service. Artificial trees are not accepted as yard waste and will not be collected.
City officials encourage residents to follow these guidelines to help ensure a smooth and efficient collection process as crews transition from holiday operations back to regular service schedules.
