Bradenton Community Honors First Responders at Tribute to Heroes Memorial Ceremony
This morning, the City of Bradenton and the Manatee County Fire Chiefs’ Association held the annual Tribute to Heroes Memorial Ceremony at Rossi Park. The event brought together Mayor Gene Brown, members of the Bradenton City Council, local first responders, and residents in a solemn gathering of remembrance and gratitude.
The ceremony honored the lives lost on September 11, 2001, while also recognizing the ongoing sacrifices of firefighters, police officers, EMS workers, and all emergency personnel who continue to serve the community.
During the event, a proclamation was issued declaring the day as Tribute to Heroes Day in Bradenton. City officials emphasized the importance of honoring the bravery of first responders and reaffirming the community’s commitment to never forgetting the events of September 11.
Residents stood side by side with local leaders and first responders, reflecting on the courage of those who serve and those who gave their lives in the line of duty. The proclamation serves as a lasting reminder that their service and sacrifice will always be remembered.
