Bradenton Completes Sidewalk Repairs at MLK Jr. Park to Improve Safety and Accessibility
Visitors to MLK Jr. Park in Bradenton will notice smoother and safer walkways following the completion of a sidewalk improvement project by city crews.
The work included replacing worn and damaged sections of concrete around the playground and throughout the park, enhancing pedestrian access while improving safety for residents and families who use the popular neighborhood park.
Although the project was relatively small in scope, the repairs help create a more accessible and welcoming environment for children, parents, seniors and other park visitors. Replacing deteriorated sidewalks also reduces potential tripping hazards and supports continued use of the park’s recreational amenities.
City officials said the project is part of ongoing efforts to maintain Bradenton’s parks and public spaces, ensuring neighborhood facilities remain safe, functional and inviting for the community
