Bradenton Hosts Hurricane Preparedness Town Hall July 16

Bradenton residents are encouraged to attend a Hurricane Preparedness Town Hall on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. The event will take place at Manatee Life Church, located at 315 15th St. E in Bradenton.

Hosted by Councilwoman Lisa Gonzalez Moore, the town hall is designed to equip the community with essential knowledge and tools ahead of the 2025 hurricane season. City staff and first responders will be present to share important storm preparation tips, explain how the city coordinates emergency responses, and answer questions from the public.

Attendees will also learn how to sign up for local emergency alerts and receive updates on what proactive steps the City of Bradenton is taking to ensure public safety during severe weather events.

Residents are encouraged to come prepared with questions and take advantage of the opportunity to engage directly with local leaders and emergency personnel.
