Bradenton Housing Authority to Open Public Housing Waitlist in July
The Bradenton Housing Authority will open its Public Housing Program waitlist to new applicants beginning Monday, July 6, 2026, at 9 a.m.
The application period will remain open through Friday, July 17, 2026, at 5 p.m. Officials emphasized that placement on the waitlist does not guarantee housing assistance. Applicants selected from the waitlist will be contacted as units become available and must complete eligibility screening in accordance with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development regulations and Bradenton Housing Authority policies.
Applications will be accepted online only through the Bradenton Housing Authority’s application portal. Residents without internet access may use a smartphone, public computer, or other device to complete the application.
The housing authority also announced that reasonable accommodations will be available to ensure equal access to the application process. Individuals who are unable to complete the online application because of a disability, limited English proficiency, or lack of internet access may request assistance or an alternative application method.
Those seeking information about the waitlist, accommodations, or application assistance can contact the Bradenton Housing Authority at 941-748-5568.
