Bradenton Kiwanis Initiative Seeks Volunteers to Empower Local Youth
Manatee County students urgently need community support, and the Bradenton Kiwanis Club is stepping up with an initiative to provide mentorship and assistance to local schools and youth organizations.
Through a collaborative effort with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County, the initiative connects volunteers with students at several locations, including Oneco Elementary, Daughtrey Elementary, the Boys & Girls Palmetto Club, and the Boys & Girls Desoto Club.
Volunteers are needed to serve as mentors and role models, supporting young students and teens. The program is designed to be accessible, with a flexible commitment of just one hour per week. Training is provided to ensure volunteers have the skills needed to support the health and wellness of participating students.
By dedicating their time, volunteers can make a meaningful impact on the lives of local youth, fostering positive relationships and helping students develop confidence and resilience.
