Bradenton Man Fatally Shot Early Thursday, No Arrest Reported

A 36-year-old man was found shot and killed early Thursday morning in the 1300 block of 18th Place East in Bradenton, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to the scene just before 12:30 a.m. and discovered the man lying in a driveway with a gunshot wound. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.

Authorities say the shooter and others involved were located and accounted for, but no arrests have been made at this time as the investigation continues. Law enforcement is still working to determine the circumstances that led up to the deadly shooting.

The incident remains under investigation by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office as deputies piece together what happened in the early hours of Thursday.
