Bradenton Man Sentenced to 10 Years in Federal Prison for Child Sexual Abuse Material
A Bradenton man has been sentenced to a decade behind bars after pleading guilty to federal charges involving child sexual abuse material. U.S. District Judge James S. Moody sentenced 53-year-old Christopher Clark to 10 years in federal prison for receiving and possessing thousands of illicit images and videos.
Clark entered a guilty plea on January 22, 2025. According to court records, the FBI executed a search warrant at Clark’s residence in September 2024. Investigators seized approximately 45 electronic devices from the home. A forensic review of several of those devices uncovered thousands of files containing child sexual abuse material.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation investigated the case, with support from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, Bradenton Police Department, and Sarasota Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Ross Roberts led the prosecution.
Clark’s case was part of Project Safe Childhood, a Department of Justice initiative aimed at combating child exploitation through a coordinated effort between federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.
