Bradenton Marauders Adjust Roster with Key Moves Amid Injuries
BRADENTON, Fla. — The Pittsburgh Pirates have announced several roster changes impacting their Single-A affiliate, the Bradenton Marauders, as the team manages player availability amid ongoing injuries.
Outfielder Edward Florentino has been promoted from the Florida Complex League (FCL) Pirates and assigned to Bradenton. Florentino, who will don jersey No. 15, joins the Marauders as they continue to reconfigure their roster heading into the second half of the season.
Meanwhile, catcher Axiel Plaz has been placed on the 7-day injured list, retroactive to June 19. In a corresponding move, left-handed pitcher Isaias Uribe has been transferred from the 7-day injured list to the full-season injured list, signaling a longer-term recovery plan.
With these updates, the Marauders' active roster now stands at 29 players. This includes two currently on minor-league rehab assignments and nine players sidelined due to injury.
Bradenton continues to navigate a challenging stretch while working to stay competitive in the Florida State League.
