Bradenton Marauders Announce Roster Moves as Pitchers and Catchers Shift Levels
The Bradenton Marauders, Single-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, announced a series of roster changes as part of the organization’s ongoing player development strategy.
Three pitchers have been promoted from Bradenton to High-A Greensboro: left-hander Inmer Lobo and right-handers Peyton Stumbo and Jake Shirk. These promotions reflect strong performances during their time with the Marauders and mark the next step in their minor league progression.
Meanwhile, Bradenton welcomes two new players from the Florida Complex League (FCL) Pirates. Right-handed pitcher Dariel Francia joins the Marauders and has been assigned jersey number 34. Catcher Richard Ramirez also makes the move and will wear number 29.
In addition, catcher Luke Scherrer has been reassigned from Bradenton back to the FCL Pirates, opening up a spot behind the plate for the incoming Ramirez.
Following these adjustments, the Marauders’ active roster stands at 27 players. That number includes two players currently on minor league rehab assignments and nine on the injured list.
These roster moves underscore the continued development and transition within the Pirates’ farm system as the organization evaluates talent and builds depth across all levels.
