Bradenton Motorsports Park Completes Major Renovation, Marking 50 Years of Racing Legacy
Bradenton Motorsports Park, a fixture in the national racing community since hosting its first NHRA divisional event in 1975, has completed an extensive renovation under the ownership of Victor Alvarez and Garrett Mitchell, widely known to fans as YouTube personality Cleetus McFarland.
Throughout the 2025 racing season, the iconic facility underwent a significant transformation designed to ensure its long-term future as one of Florida’s premier drag racing venues. The project, backed by a major capital investment, included the construction of a new entrance road, upgraded fencing, improved paving, and a fully renovated timing tower and restroom facilities.
Additional enhancements featured the acquisition of state-of-the-art track preparation and maintenance equipment, further elevating the racing surface and safety standards for drivers and spectators alike.
The improvements mark a milestone for the Bradenton track, which has become a central hub for motorsports fans nationwide through a growing online audience and major racing events.
