Bradenton Police Arrest Suspect in Laundry Mat Cell Phone Theft, Link Him to Additional Burglary
Bradenton Police have arrested a man, investigators say, who is responsible for stealing cell phones from a local laundromat in October 2025.
On Friday, Dec. 5, detectives identified Carlloze Rowells after reviewing surveillance footage from Select Coin Laundry on 21st Avenue West. Investigators said Rowells was seen on camera taking multiple cell phones from inside the business.
Police identified Rowells while he was already in custody at the Manatee County Jail on unrelated charges. He now faces a burglary charge connected to the laundromat theft.
Authorities also linked Rowells to another burglary in the 200 block of MLK Avenue West, where approximately $3,000 in items was reported stolen. Additional burglary charges have been filed in connection with that case.
Meanwhile, Bradenton Police continue searching for a female suspect involved in a separate robbery at a Dollar Tree store. Officials are asking anyone with information to contact the department or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers.
