Bradenton Police Chief Josh Cramer Graduates from Prestigious FBI National Academy
Bradenton Police Chief Josh Cramer has graduated from the 298th session of the FBI National Academy, one of the most respected and selective leadership training programs in law enforcement.
The academy, held in Quantico, Virginia, brings together top law enforcement leaders from across the United States and around the world for 10 weeks of intensive training focused on leadership development, public safety strategies, communication skills and officer wellness. Participation is limited to a small percentage of law enforcement professionals, making graduation a significant achievement.
Chief Cramer completed the program alongside 255 law enforcement professionals representing 26 countries, 46 states and the District of Columbia. The session concluded with a graduation ceremony on June 18.
A veteran of the Bradenton Police Department with more than three decades of service to the city, Cramer said the experience provided valuable opportunities to exchange ideas and learn from fellow law enforcement leaders from diverse backgrounds. He also expressed appreciation for the support of his department, city leadership and family during the 10-week program.
The Bradenton Police Department said Cramer’s graduation reflects the agency’s commitment to leadership, innovation and professional excellence. The department noted that the advanced training and relationships developed through the academy will help strengthen public safety efforts and support continued growth within the organization.
The FBI National Academy is recognized internationally for preparing law enforcement executives to address complex public safety challenges and lead their agencies with professionalism and integrity. Graduates join a worldwide network of law enforcement leaders dedicated to advancing best practices and improving community policing.
