Bradenton Police Investigating Overnight Homicide on 11th Avenue East
Police are investigating a deadly shooting that took place late Monday night in Bradenton, leaving one person dead.
The Bradenton Police Department reported that officers responded to gunfire at 11:28 p.m. in the 400 block of 11th Avenue East. When they arrived, they found a gunshot victim outside a home. Officers immediately began providing first aid before the victim was transported to a local hospital, where they later died early Tuesday morning.
BPD detectives, along with the Manatee Homicide Investigative Unit, remained at the scene into Tuesday morning, processing evidence and interviewing witnesses. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity or information on any possible suspects.
The investigation is ongoing, and police say additional updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
