Bradenton Police Launch Criminal Investigation After Boat Fire at Twin Dolphin Marina
BRADENTON — Authorities have opened a criminal investigation into a boat fire that broke out Monday afternoon at the Twin Dolphin Marina, near the Green Bridge and Bradenton Riverwalk.
The blaze was reported around 1:30 p.m., prompting a swift emergency response to the popular downtown marina. The fire engulfed at least one vessel docked at the marina, with smoke visible from surrounding areas along the Manatee River.
The Bradenton Police Department is actively investigating the incident and is seeking the public’s assistance. Detectives are seeking anyone who may have been on or near Riverwalk shortly before or after the fire and who may have seen suspicious activity.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and police have not confirmed if any injuries were reported.
