Bradenton Police Officer Fired Following Arrest on Domestic Violence Charges
The Bradenton Police Department has terminated the employment of patrol officer Quinlyn Parnau following her arrest Tuesday night by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
Parnau, 29, was arrested early Wednesday morning, May 6, 2026, and faces charges of domestic battery and burglary of an occupied dwelling. Authorities said the allegations stem from an off-duty domestic violence incident.
The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the case. Bradenton police officials said the department has no additional information to release at this time.
Parnau joined the Bradenton Police Department in 2020.
In a message sent to department personnel following the arrest, Josh Cramer emphasized the importance of accountability and maintaining public trust, stating that officers are expected to uphold professionalism and responsibility both on and off duty.
