Bradenton Shines Periwinkle Blue for Stomach Cancer Awareness
The City of Bradenton has illuminated the City Hall Parking Garage in periwinkle blue as part of the global Power of Periwinkle Campaign, raising awareness for stomach cancer. This initiative is part of a worldwide effort to honor those affected by the disease and inspire hope for a cure.
Organized by Debbie’s Dream Foundation in partnership with organizations like My Gut Feeling - Stomach Cancer Foundation, the campaign connects communities and landmarks across the globe. Iconic sites such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa and One World Trade Center have participated, and Bradenton proudly joins them for the second consecutive year.
The city’s participation highlights its commitment to the fight against stomach cancer, bringing attention to a cause that impacts families worldwide. By lighting up the City Hall Parking Garage, Bradenton adds its voice to a unified global message of support and awareness.
