Bradenton Teen Arrested After Fatal Hit-and-Run on U.S. 41
Bradenton, FL – Florida Highway Patrol troopers have arrested an 18-year-old Bradenton man accused of hitting and killing a pedestrian in a crash Wednesday night on U.S. 41.
Christopher Quezada-Cerros faces charges of leaving the scene of a deadly crash and is currently being held at the Manatee County Jail without bond.
The crash occurred just after 10:30 p.m. near 63rd Avenue West, where Quezada-Cerros was driving an SUV northbound on U.S. 41. According to investigators, the vehicle struck a pedestrian who was walking with a bicycle.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers are continuing their investigation into the fatal incident.
