Bradenton Teen Arrested in Connection to Deadly Twin Lakes Park Shooting
The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office has arrested a third suspect in the November 2024 Twin Lakes Park shooting that left one teenager dead. Jonathan Vivar, 18, of Bradenton, has been charged with homicide, murder, and dangerous, depraved, without premeditation, in the death of Eric Santana-Santana.
Vivar is currently being held at the Sarasota County Jail.
Two other suspects were previously taken into custody in connection with the shooting. Carlos Romero-Tomas, 20, faces charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm in public, and providing false information about the commission of a crime.
A teenage suspect from Bradenton was also arrested and is charged with aggravated battery, discharging a firearm in public, carrying a concealed weapon, and armed trespass.
The shooting occurred in Twin Lakes Park in Sarasota County and resulted in a multi-agency investigation. The Sheriff's Office has not released further details on the motive or the relationships among those involved.
