Bradenton to Launch New Utility Payment System Sept. 1
City of Bradenton utility customers will have a new way to pay bills and manage their accounts beginning Sept. 1.
The city is launching Utility Access, a new online utility payment system designed to provide customers with additional payment options and account-management tools. The new system will replace Paymentus as Bradenton’s online utility payment provider.
Utility Access will allow customers to use Text-to-Pay, enroll in AutoPay, schedule payments in advance and receive payment reminders and other account notifications. Customers will also be able to manage their utility accounts online and access the system through the MyBradenton 311 app.
The city says there will be no online payment processing fees through the new system. Customers will also be able to access their payment history after the transition.
Creating an online account is optional. However, customers who register will have access to additional features for managing their utility accounts and payments.
The changeover to Utility Access is scheduled for Sept. 1, 2026. Customers who currently use the city’s online utility payment services should be aware that Paymentus will no longer serve as the city’s online payment provider after the transition.
Additional information about the new system, including frequently asked questions, is available through the City of Bradenton Utility Access FAQs.
