Bradenton Woman Dies in Sarasota Motorcycle Crash
A 37-year-old woman from Bradenton was killed Friday evening in a motorcycle crash in Sarasota, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The fatal incident occurred just after 6:30 p.m. as the motorcyclist was traveling south on North Honore Avenue, near a curve north of Athletes Drive. Investigators say she lost control of the motorcycle, veered out of her lane, and was ejected from the vehicle.
After being thrown from the motorcycle, the woman collided with a “Do Not Enter” sign. Authorities confirmed she was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
