Centerstone Celebrates JoAnne H. Duke’s Lasting Legacy Through Sapphire Society Membership
Bradenton, Fla. – Centerstone is proud to honor JoAnne H. Duke as the newest member of its Sapphire Society, celebrating her decades-long commitment to mental health and addiction services in the community.
Lisa Williams, Centerstone’s Regional Chief Executive Officer, recently presented a gift to JoAnne Duke’s daughters, Dianne O’Malley and Donna Morrison, and their spouses, acknowledging JoAnne’s enduring contributions. The Sapphire Society celebrates individuals who have chosen to leave a lasting legacy to Centerstone through estate planning, ensuring continued support for the organization’s mission.
JoAnne served on Centerstone’s Board of Directors for more than 40 years and was instrumental in advancing programs and services that support individuals in need of mental health and addiction care. In alignment with her wishes, the Duke Legacy Endowment Fund was established in her honor, providing a lasting source of funding to sustain Centerstone’s services for generations to come.
JoAnne’s dedication extended beyond Centerstone. Throughout her life, she demonstrated a deep commitment to community, faith, and family. She played a key role in the development of local crisis services, senior mental health and addiction residences, and numerous charitable initiatives in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. Her vision and generosity continue to have a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals and families.
Through the Sapphire Society and the Duke Legacy Endowment Fund, JoAnne H. Duke’s legacy of service, compassion, and philanthropy will continue to support Centerstone’s mission of delivering care that changes people’s lives.
