Centerstone Expands Trauma and Grief Therapy Resources for Children and Teens Across Three Counties
Centerstone’s Trauma and Grief Treatment program is offering trauma therapy services for children and teens ages 0–17 in Manatee, Sarasota, and DeSoto counties, with support available for families as well. The program provides trauma- and traumatic grief-focused care, with additional resources that include case management, parent partner support, and Spanish language interpreter and cultural broker services.
Families can access services through local offices in each county. In Manatee County, services are available at 365 6th Ave. W., Bradenton, 34205. In Sarasota County, the office is located at 4010 Sawyer Road, Sarasota, 34233. In DeSoto County, the office is located at 7 N 10th Avenue, Arcadia, FL 34266.
Referrals are accepted through a fillable PDF referral packet. Individuals seeking services are asked to complete the screener, and if eligible, complete the referral form and submit it to Tari.Allan@centerstone.org and Oluwashola.Toussaint@centerstone.org. Community members can also call (941) 782-4150 and ask for Trauma Services to request help getting connected.
