Chewy Vet Care is expanding its presence in Florida with the opening of a new veterinary clinic in Parrish on Tuesday, October 20. Located at 8730 U.S. 301, Unit 103, the clinic will provide a range of medical services for cats and dogs in Manatee County.
The new facility will offer routine wellness exams, vaccinations, urgent care, diagnostic testing, spaying and neutering, and other surgical procedures. Pet owners can schedule appointments online or visit the clinic without an appointment.
The clinic features a welcoming design with warm lighting and soft colors intended to create a comfortable environment for pets and their owners.
Chewy Vet Care also provides a digital pet portal, allowing owners to access their pets’ medical records, prescriptions, and other health information 24 hours a day. The clinic integrates with Chewy’s online services, including Chewy Pharmacy, to help simplify pet healthcare management.
The Parrish location marks Chewy Vet Care’s ninth veterinary practice in Florida. The company expanded to the Gulf Coast in September with the opening of a clinic in Lutz. Additional Florida locations include Jacksonville, Coral Springs, Plantation, Delray Beach, Aventura, and Boynton Beach.
According to a recent Chewy survey, more than 90% of Central Florida pet owners visit a veterinarian at least once annually, while 37% report spending more on their pets’ healthcare than their own.
Chewy, an online retailer specializing in pet products and services, maintains dual headquarters in Plantation, Florida, and Boston, Massachusetts. Its growing veterinary network combines in-person medical care with digital tools and pharmacy services.
