Chicken Salad Chick Bradenton Offers Free Kids’ Meals Until SNAP Benefits Are Restored
Chicken Salad Chick in Bradenton has announced that it will provide free kids’ meals to children until Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits are reinstated in Florida.
The restaurant’s local team said the initiative is driven by a desire to ensure that no child goes hungry during the federal benefit interruption. Each child visiting the Bradenton location will receive one complimentary kids’ meal, and children must be present and dine in the restaurant. No purchase is required.
The Bradenton Chicken Salad Chick emphasized that the effort is not political, but simply a way to support families during a difficult time. The restaurant encouraged the community to join in looking out for local children, calling them “our most vulnerable and most valuable.”
As of now, other Chicken Salad Chick locations in the Tampa Bay area have not confirmed whether they will take part in the same initiative.
