Cinderella’s Closet Seeks Prom Attire Donations for Night With the Stars
Cinderella’s Closet is now accepting donations to help create a magical prom experience for adults with special needs attending the upcoming Night With the Stars Prom. The initiative provides prom attire and accessories so every guest can feel confident, included, and celebrated on one of the most meaningful nights of the year.
The effort supports Night With the Stars Prom Inc., which hosts an annual prom designed specifically for adults with special needs. For many participants, the event is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and access to formal attire helps remove barriers to full participation.
Donations are being accepted through March 13, 2026. Needed items include prom dresses in all sizes, men’s suits, dress shirts and ties, jewelry, handbags, and hair accessories. All donated items are shared respectfully and presented with care to ensure guests feel special on prom night.
The collection is taking place at the Manatee Performing Arts Center, 502 Third Avenue West, Bradenton. Drop-offs are accepted Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Donors who require tax documentation may request an in-kind donation receipt.
Community members are encouraged to participate by donating gently used or new formalwear and accessories to help make prom night unforgettable for every guest.
