City of Palmetto Announces Multiple Job Openings Across Departments

The City of Palmetto is seeking to fill several open positions across multiple departments, offering residents an opportunity to join the municipal workforce and support essential community services.

Available positions include an Administrative Assistant to support the Community Redevelopment Agency, with a starting pay of $21.87 per hour. The city is also hiring Crossing Guards at $16.32 per hour to help ensure student safety at school crossings, as well as Dispatchers for the Palmetto Police Department, starting at $21.87 per hour.

Additional openings are available within Public Works and utility services, including a Meter Reader and Customer Service Field Representative, starting at $16.32 per hour. Public Works positions include Service Worker I, an entry-level role starting at $16.32 per hour; Service Worker II in the sewer division, starting at $18.52 per hour; Service Worker III, starting at $19.84 per hour; and Service Worker II in the Cross Connect division, starting at $17.99 per hour.
