Commissioner Carol Ann Felts to Host July 23 Town Hall for District 1 Residents at Rocky Bluff Library
Manatee County Commissioner Carol Ann Felts, who represents District 1, is inviting residents to a community Town Hall on Wednesday, July 23, from 6 to 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Rocky Bluff Library, located at 6750 U.S. Highway 301 North in Ellenton.
This public event provides District 1 residents with the opportunity to meet directly with Commissioner Felts, share concerns, ask questions, and engage in open dialogue about county services, community challenges, and upcoming initiatives.
District 1 encompasses the northeastern portion of Manatee County, including Parrish, Ellenton, parts of Palmetto, and rural areas east of I-75. The district is one of the fastest-growing regions in the county, experiencing rapid development while still retaining much of its agricultural and small-town character. With growth comes challenges related to infrastructure, transportation, environmental preservation, and community services—all expected topics of interest at the Town Hall.
Commissioner Felts, elected in 2024, has emphasized transparency, citizen engagement, and responsible growth management. The Town Hall aims to strengthen connections between county leadership and residents, ensuring that local voices are heard as the county continues to evolve.
All Manatee County residents, especially those living in District 1, are encouraged to attend. No registration is required.
