Community Leaders to Discuss Resilience and Giving at Manatee Tiger Bay Club Forum
The Manatee Tiger Bay Club will host a timely discussion titled “When Support Decreases, Giving Grows” on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Manatee Performing Arts Center. The program will explore resilience, generosity, and the power of the community during times of financial challenge.
The panel features three respected leaders in the nonprofit and philanthropic sector:
Wendy Deming, CEO of the Bishop Parker Foundation, is an organization dedicated to strengthening communities through grants supporting education, healthcare, human services, and cultural initiatives in Manatee County.
Veronica Thames, CEO of the Manatee Community Foundation, which connects donors with local causes, manages charitable funds, and invests in programs that improve quality of life across the region.
Tracy Vanderneck, President of Phil-Com, LLC, a consulting firm that specializes in helping nonprofits build fundraising capacity, develop strategies, and enhance donor relationships.
The Manatee Tiger Bay Club, recognized for bringing together civic leaders, community members, and experts, continues its mission of fostering open dialogue on issues that affect the region. This forum will highlight how collaboration and generosity can sustain vital programs even when traditional funding sources decline.
The event invites the community to engage in a conversation about strengthening philanthropy and supporting organizations that provide essential services.
