Construction Advances on New Manatee ER at Harrison Ranch
Construction is moving forward on Manatee ER at Harrison Ranch, marking a significant step toward expanding emergency medical services in Parrish. Crews have begun pouring footers for the new freestanding emergency department, an extension of Manatee Memorial Hospital.
The facility, now officially under construction, is designed to provide 24/7 emergency care to the rapidly growing Parrish community. Once completed, it will offer around-the-clock treatment for urgent medical needs along with outpatient imaging services, giving residents quicker access to lifesaving care without leaving the area.
Located in the Harrison Ranch area, the project reflects ongoing efforts to meet the region’s rising healthcare demands as northern Manatee County continues to experience population growth. Hospital leaders have framed the facility as an important investment in community health, aimed at reducing travel times for emergency care and improving overall access.
Manatee ER at Harrison Ranch is expected to open in fall 2026, adding a modern, fully equipped emergency department to support families in Parrish and nearby communities. Construction will continue throughout the coming year as crews move from foundational work to the building’s structure and interior development.
