Construction Advances on Premier Sports Campus North Athletics & Aquatics Center in Lakewood Ranch
Construction is progressing at Premier Sports Campus North in Lakewood Ranch, where a new Athletics & Aquatics Center is taking shape and is expected to open later this year.
The state-of-the-art facility will expand recreational and competitive opportunities in the growing Lakewood Ranch community. Plans for the complex include a competition swimming pool for meets and training sessions, as well as a dedicated therapy pool to support rehabilitation and wellness programming.
In addition to aquatic amenities, the center will feature locker rooms, 24 pickleball courts and walking trails designed to encourage year-round outdoor activity. Expanded parking is also included in the project to accommodate increased visitors and tournament traffic.
Once completed, the new center is anticipated to serve athletes of all ages and skill levels, providing space for competitive events, recreational play and community wellness programs. The development represents a continued investment in sports infrastructure in eastern Manatee County, as Lakewood Ranch continues to experience residential and commercial growth.
Officials say additional updates will be shared as construction nears completion and opening day approaches.
