The Coquina Beach Market will move to a new location beginning Friday, Oct. 2, as the popular outdoor market begins its 2026-27 season.
Vendor booths will now be located along the trail beginning south of the trolley turnaround at Coquina Beach, 2650 Gulf Drive S. in Bradenton Beach.
The market will be open Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring local vendors offering arts and crafts, clothing, jewelry, food and other merchandise.
The Coquina Beach Market has been a fixture on Anna Maria Island for more than a decade. The market was previously operated by longtime organizer Nancy Ambrose before Manatee County ended that agreement in 2022 and began restructuring the event.
After being suspended while the county worked on a new event area and addressed impacts from Hurricane Ian, the market returned in October 2023 under a new operator. The redesigned market provided space for approximately 80 vendors at the south end of Coquina Beach.
The market has continued as a seasonal attraction for residents and visitors, typically operating from fall through spring and early summer.
