Crime Stoppers of Manatee County is pleased to announce it will be hosting its 25th Annual Halloween Safe Kids Night at the new Bradenton Area Convention Center in Palmetto. The event will be held on Halloween, Saturday, October 31st, 2026, from 6pm – 9pm in the Main Arena of the Convention Center in Palmetto. Visitors may park for free in designated parking lots surrounding the convention center and accessible from Haben Blvd.
The event is FREE for the public to attend and as always, there will be plenty of fun and candy for the whole family. Event partners hosting booths and distributing candy will be Law Enforcement & Public Safety Agencies, Civic & Non-Profit Organizations, as well as Churches & Ministries. All Candy will be individually wrapped & sealed.
There will also be fun and games, as well as public safety equipment & first responder vehicles on display. A free photo booth will also be featured so families can capture the special memories they make at the event this year. Please visit www.ManateeCrimeStoppers.com for more details.
This well-established event consistently attracts over 4000 children & families each year. Since this year’s event will occur on a Saturday night and the Bradenton Area Convention Center is such a well-known venue, we anticipate another record crowd.
“We are grateful to be working with Manatee County and the Convention Center for the first time! It’s especially exciting because this is our 25th year for hosting this event. The Convention Center staff has been wonderful to work with and we have so many community partners joining us this year,“ said Frank Brunner, CEO of Manatee Crime Stoppers.
“Many non-profit & government agencies, as well as churches will be participating by hosting Trick or Treat booths in the Convention Center’s Main Arena.”
The event not only provides children and families with a safe alternative for “Trick or Treating”, but also information for parents about community organizations and agencies which serve Manatee County families.
Rather than going door to door in unsafe neighborhoods which lack sidewalks and streetlights, families can visit the Bradenton Area Convention Center and enjoy an enhanced Halloween experience.
Crime Stoppers is providing a venue with plenty of security, supervision, games, activities, and candy while also promoting public safety & community services which are available to families.
Be sure to have the little ones (11 and under) dress up and compete in the Best Costume Contest for cash prizes!”
