Debate held between Supervisor of Election candidates
On Thursday, June 19th, the Lakewood Ranch Republican Club hosted a debate between James Satcher, the Governor-appointed Supervisor of Elections, and Scott Farrington, the former Chief of Staff and Deputy Supervisor of Elections. The two candidates will face off for the Republican SOE nomination during the closed primary on August 20th. The SOE debate begins approximately 27 minutes into the video.
One would not think that the SOE election would showcase such a stark delineation of ideal vs agenda. This race, along with the Commissioner races, has become one of the more important campaigns in our county this year. Thank you for making the debate available to more people through this forum.
