Downtown Bradenton CRA Seeks Community Input on Old Main Street Future
The Downtown Bradenton Community Redevelopment Agency is inviting residents, business owners and visitors to help shape the future of the Old Main Street corridor and Downtown Bradenton through a new public planning initiative.
As part of the Old Main Street Public Realm Activation Plan, the CRA is conducting an urban design study focused on the Old Main Street area along 12th Street West to better understand how the district can evolve as downtown continues to grow and change.
A public workshop is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1008 Fourth Ave. W. The event will provide community members with an opportunity to share ideas, offer feedback and discuss potential improvements for the area’s public spaces, walkability, streetscape and overall downtown experience.
In addition to the in-person workshop, the CRA is encouraging the public to participate in an online survey as part of the planning process. Feedback gathered through both the workshop and survey will help guide future recommendations for the Old Main Street corridor and Downtown Bradenton.
More information about the project and the online survey is available at City of Bradenton Old Main Street Plan.
