Downtown Bradenton Parking Restrictions Planned for FIFA World Cup Viewing Party
Soccer fans planning to attend Bradenton’s FIFA World Cup Viewing Party on Friday, June 12, should be aware of temporary parking restrictions along Old Main Street.
The City of Bradenton has announced that no parking will be permitted on Old Main Street from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. to accommodate the downtown event. Vehicles parked in violation of the restrictions will be subject to towing.
The viewing party is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. and will feature a live broadcast of the FIFA World Cup match between the United States and Paraguay. Kickoff is set for 9 p.m., with the game displayed on a large jumbotron in downtown Bradenton.
City officials are encouraging attendees to avoid parking issues by utilizing the free public parking garages available throughout downtown. The temporary restrictions are intended to help manage crowds and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for fans gathering to watch the international soccer matchup.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead, arrive early, and take advantage of alternative parking options before heading to the festivities on Old Main Street.
