Dr. Mona Jain and Buffalo Creek Claim Top Honors at Manatee Middle School Cross Country Meet
The results are in from Saturday’s Middle School Cross Country meet, where teams from across Manatee County showcased impressive performances and sportsmanship on the course.
In the girls’ division, Dr. Mona Jain Middle School captured the top team title, followed by R. Dan Nolan Middle School in second and Martha B. King Middle School in third. Individually, Tatum B. of Dr. Mona Jain Middle took first place, Katelyn M. of Nolan finished second, and Emma V., also from Nolan, earned third.
On the boys’ side, Buffalo Creek Middle School led the pack to secure the team championship, with Dr. Mona Jain Middle School placing second and Haile Middle School third. The individual competition saw Maddox R. of Buffalo Creek finish first, Rafe T. of King take second, and Mitchell F. of Dr. Mona Jain round out the top three.
The event drew strong support from families, classmates, and coaches, celebrating not only the winners but all runners who crossed the finish line. The meet highlighted the growing enthusiasm for youth athletics across Manatee County’s middle schools, with students demonstrating dedication, teamwork, and pride in representing their schools.
