Duette Road Bridge Replacement Project Reaches 30 Percent Completion
Construction continues on the Duette Road Bridge replacement project, with crews actively elevating the roadway and installing foundation supports as part of the ongoing infrastructure improvement.
According to the latest update, embankment material is being placed to raise the road to its planned elevation, marking steady progress toward the project's goals. Overall, the project is now approximately 30 percent complete.
Work on the bridge’s structural foundation is also advancing. Five piles have been fully installed, while an additional 10 are currently in place and ready to be driven to their required depth. These piles are critical components that will support the new bridge structure and ensure long-term stability.
Drivers traveling through the area are advised to use caution, remain alert for construction crews and heavy equipment, and allow extra time for travel as work continues.
Officials expressed appreciation for the community’s patience as the project moves forward, emphasizing the long-term benefits of improved safety and infrastructure along Duette Road.
