Endangered Man Missing in Ellenton, Authorities Seek Public’s Help
The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 38-year-old Patrick Joseph James Jr., who has been reported missing and endangered.
James was last seen at approximately 11:20 a.m. on March 24, 2026, walking in the 6200 block of 25th Street East in Ellenton. According to authorities, he has intellectual limitations and is unable to care for himself, raising concerns for his safety.
He is described as 6 feet tall, weighing around 150 pounds, and was last seen wearing a tank top and shorts.
