Traffic has returned to normal on Manatee Avenue after a fire at the Women’s Resource Center caused lane closures and delays Thursday.
The fire occurred at the Women’s Resource Center near 19th Street West, prompting emergency crews to block westbound lanes of Manatee Avenue in the area while firefighters responded.
One westbound lane reopened around 12:35 p.m., while the outside lane remained closed as the City of Bradenton Fire Department continued working at the scene.
All lanes have since reopened.
The Bradenton Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire. No additional information about the extent of the damage or possible injuries was immediately available.
