Firefighters Respond to Residential Fire on Estuary Drive in Bradenton
A structure fire broke out Sunday evening at a residential unit located at 709 Estuary Drive in Bradenton. At approximately 8:08 p.m. on November 3, emergency services from West Manatee and Bradenton were alerted to a fire involving a water heater. Upon arrival, West Manatee Fire Rescue’s Engine 111 was the first on the scene, observing heavy black smoke emerging from the attached unit.
Engine 111 quickly deployed a handline to combat the flames, initiating an aggressive attack to contain the fire. Additional units from the Bradenton Fire Department, including Engines 412, 431, 482, and Squad 418, arrived to provide support. A ladder from Cedar Hammock Fire Rescue (CHFR Ladder 219) and Battalion 4 were also on site to assist in managing the incident. Emergency Medical Services (EMS Alpha 4), Inspector 492, and multiple Bradenton police units responded to ensure the safety of residents and manage traffic in the area.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of all responding units, the fire was brought under control. No injuries were reported, and an investigation into the cause of the fire is underway. The quick actions of West Manatee and Bradenton Fire Rescue prevented further damage to surrounding properties.
